Back to school - AGAIN!

So, school started again today and started off on a fantastic note! I walked into the classroom to find that one of my good friends from my undergraduate degree was in my class! I was greeted with a surprised “Hi, Jess!” After I dragged my butt out of work and drove 80 MPH to school, so I could get there on time, it was very delightful to see a friendly face. Much to my surprise, my Business Ethics teacher was hilarious! He’s an ex-lawyer who decided he wants to be a manager (how interesting?) Anyway, this man was hilarious and that made the three hour class SO much better. It also made the “Ethics talk” a lot more bearable. One of my assignments this week is to ask people controversial questions about life and analyze their answers (are you a Kantian? Are you an Aristotelian? OR are you Pufendorfian? Well… whatever you are – I will find out! And unless you read this stupid blog of mine, you will never know why I am asking you all these controversial questions… wuahaha… OK. I am done being a dork now.

Anyhoot… Life is good. Scott and I are going to Bali, Singapore and Hong Kong in November over Thanksgiving. I can’t wait! Mainly, I am excited to take pictures for 10 days! I am counting down the days!!!!

I have been getting back into photography lately and have joined a work photo contest. Some of my photos can be viewed here:

If you like creative books, I suggest the book I am reading for my “Language of Strategy” class. It’s called “Orbiting the Giant Hairball.” I know it sounds weird, but it’s actually really cool and if you are looking to “open your mind,” like different books with half serious reading and half comic strips, or if you just want to read something refreshing, this is the book for you!

Here are a few photos I've taken lately to preview what you will see if you click the link above:

P.S. – Life is good! Remember: “Orbiting is following your bliss!”
